Open the Portal to Ancestral Communication

Your altar is a megaphone to communicate with your ancestors. It is a space for your intentions and needs to be vocalized to the unseen realm.

Your ancestral altar can be as simple or elaborate as you’d like. A great place to start is gathering these components:

🕯️a cloth (light color or white) to place your altar objects on

🕯️a vessel for water and a container to pour water into for libation to the ancestors

🕯️an earth or mineral element (i.e. dirt, plants, soil, stone, crystals) that has ancestral significance to you

🕯️a photo or object that represents your ancestor(s)

🕯️candle or incense 

🕯️an offering of food 

When you acknowledge and establish a connection with your ancestors, you open up to the support they want to offer. You can create change in the physical realm in ways they cannot. They are here to guide and support you on your journey to heal and get free.

Your ancestral altar offers a place of inspiration to help you move through the ups and downs of life. It can become a space to convene and get clear on what you need to do to take care of yourself, feel resourced, and be in alignment with your purpose.
